VigilLink Warranty Policy

At VigilLink, we are committed to supporting our customers and their projects from design to delivery—and if needed, through the warranty process. We have eliminated the typical "hang-ups" found in warranties to keep things simple.

Vigillink's Six Years - "No Hang-up" Warranty Policy.

Warranty Coverage

 

VigilLink provides a six-year limited warranty on products purchased only from authorized VigilLink resellers or through direct purchases. Our products are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects and fully functional in both physical and electronic aspects.

Our warranty includes three key elements:

  1. First-level tech support & troubleshooting – If you experience issues, call us first to expedite resolution.

  2. Hassle-free replacement – If your product is defective within the first six months, we will replace it at our expense.

  3. Partnership-based support – We trust you know your business, and we strive to honor and value our relationships.

VigilLink will repair or replace (at the customer's choice) defective products during the warranty period. If the product is out of stock or back-order, it may be replaced with a comparable item of equal value/features (if available, at VigilLink’s discretion) or repaired.

Warranty Period

  • Coverage begins upon receipt of the product (as confirmed by shipment tracking).

  • If tracking information is unavailable, the warranty starts 30 days after shipment.

  • Coverage continues for six (6) years from the original purchase date.

Important Warranty Conditions

  • This warranty applies only to products purchased from authorized distributors, dealers, and resellers.

  • Products purchased from unauthorized sources (e.g., auction websites, third-party marketplaces, unauthorized resellers) are not covered.

  • To receive the full benefit of this warranty, purchase from a listed Authorized Online Reseller or our Authorized Partner network.

 

  

Warranty Limitations

 

This warranty does not cover the following:

  • Tampered products – If a product or serial number has been altered, as identified by a missing/damaged warranty seal or physical examination.

  • Excessive physical damage – Damage beyond normal wear and tear may void or prorate the warranty based on an inspection by VigilLink.

  • Acts of God – Damage caused by natural disasters or other uncontrollable environmental events.

  • Improper installation – Includes incorrect power supply, inadequate cooling, improper cabling, static discharge, or lack of surge protection.

  • Accessories – IR cables, RS-232, power supplies, etc., are not included in this warranty. However, we will try to source and provide replacements at a discounted rate if needed.

  • Obsolescence or incompatibility – If newer technology surpasses the product’s capabilities after manufacture, it is not covered.

Warranty Claim Process

  • Authorized dealers, resellers, and installers can request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) by contacting VigilLink Tech Support at support@vigillink.com or submitting a request via our RMA Request Form.

  • End users must process warranty claims through their original dealer, reseller, or installer. Direct RMA requests will be referred to the point of purchase unless prior arrangements exist.

Shipping Policy

  • USA (Excluding Alaska & Hawaii):

    • Advanced replacements include FedEx Ground shipping (express shipping exceptions may apply).

    • Return shipping for defective units is covered by VigilLink via a prepaid return label (must be used within 30 days).

    • Failure to return the defective unit within 30 days will result in charge for the replacement.

  • International, Alaska & Hawaii:

    • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the sender.

    • Once the defective unit is scanned for return, VigilLink will ship the replacement.

  

 

Limitation of Liability

 

The maximum liability under this limited warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product. VigilLink is not responsible for direct, special, incidental, or consequential damage resulting from warranty claims.

This warranty does not cover taxes, duties, VAT, and freight forwarding service charges.

If a product is discontinued or out of production, it may be credited at fair market value toward a comparable replacement. Fair market value is determined at VigilLink’s discretion.

Exclusive Remedy

To the maximum extent permitted by law, this limited warranty and its remedies are exclusive and replace all other warranties—whether oral or written, express or implied. All implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed unless prohibited by law.

This warranty supersedes all previous warranties and policies.
